Gonda: The biennial convention of the Uttar Pradesh Educational Ministerial Officers Association, Devipatan Division, was held on August 29 at Government Inter College, Gonda, bringing together office-bearers and employees from all four districts of the Devipatan division.
The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by chief guest Ram Chandra, District Inspector of Schools, Gonda, along with Amit Kumar Singh, District Basic Education Officer, Gonda; Satya Prakash Singh, District Social Welfare Officer; Sudhir Kumar Pandey; Nityanand Chaturvedi; and I.P. Tripathi, Principal.

The convention was attended by the association’s Provincial General Secretary Mohammad Nazim, Provincial Observer Vijay Kumar Yadav, Divisional Election Coordinator Rakesh Tiwari and representatives and employees from the four districts of Devipatan Division.
The election of the divisional executive committee was conducted under the supervision of election officers Mohammad Afzal, Assistant Teacher at Swami Vivekanand Inter College, Gonda, and Ram Chandra Srivastava, Head Assistant and Assistant Election Officer. The new divisional executive committee was elected unopposed.
Praveen Singh was elected President, while Abdul Rahman was chosen as Vice-President. Vaibhav Pandey was elected Divisional General Secretary, Anoop Kumar Singh as Treasurer and Sanjeet Upadhyay as Auditor.

The convention provided a platform for association members to discuss organisational matters and strengthen coordination among ministerial employees working in the education department across the division.
A large number of office-bearers and employees participated in the programme. Among those present were Rahul Srivastava, Head Assistant; V.K. Srivastava; Shiv Shyam Mishra; Shiv Lal; Raksha Ram; Vishram Verma; Shivjeet Singh; Parmeet Srivastava; Rahul Sharma; Pankaj Verma; Savita; Dinesh Verma; Divakar Mishra; Mahfooz; Ghulam Usmani; Wasim; Arun Pathak and Ugrasen Singh, among others.
The successful completion of the unopposed election marked an important organisational milestone for the association in the Devipatan division.
